COVID-19 Resource Page

We’re here to support our Ambit family.

The health and well-being of our Ambit family, Customers, Consultants and employees, is always our primary concern. We’re committed to remaining flexible and responsive to the needs of our community and are taking additional steps to provide relief during this uncertain time.

Payment Flexibility

Please contact us at (877) 282-6248 if you need more time to pay. We can work with you on a deferred payment plan. As always, you can check your account and pay your bill anytime in MyAmbit Account.

Payment Assistance

If you or someone you know needs bill payment assistance, additional support is available by calling 2-1-1 or visiting and searching for ‘Electricity Bill Assistance’ to find programs in your area.

Texas Rent Relief Program

Texas Rent Relief, a new state of Texas program, is accepting applications beginning at 8:00 a.m. on February 15, to help Texas renters affected by the pandemic pay their rent and utility bills, including past-due and up to three months of expected expenses. Those who have incomes at or below 50% of the area median income or who are unemployed will receive priority, especially if they apply by February 28. To learn more and apply, visit or call (833) 989-7368, Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Tips and Tools

Because your family may be spending more time at home right now, you can keep up-to-date with your electricity usage by creating an online account and downloading our app for iPhone or Android. You can also find easy ways to use less electricity and save on the Spark blog.

Non-Texas Customer Support

For our Customers outside of Texas, billing is handled by your local delivery provider. Because each provider has its own policy for those needing billing assistance, please contact your delivery provider directly for more information.

Independent Consultant COVID-19 Policy

As of May 15, 2021, we’ve directed all of our Independent Consultants in the U.S. and Canada to comply with state, provincial and local regulations regarding all in-person marketing of the Ambit Opportunity. This includes performing any Business Presentations or in-person sales meetings.

Please note that these regulations vary and are constantly updated. While these guidelines are accurate at time of posting and are intended to help you transition back to business, you are still responsible for confirming and following the specific requirements in your area.

Markets currently fall into two categories:

  • Open Markets: The following markets are either fully open or open with certain restrictions. Please check both local and state restrictions on the number of in-person attendees allowed to meet before you host an event.
    • Fully open: Ohio and Texas.
    • States with restrictions: Delaware, District of Columbia, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Virginia.
  • Closed Markets: In-person meetings are still prohibited. States enforcing this policy are California, Connecticut, Illinois, New York and Pennsylvania.

Independent Consultant COVID-19 Support

While we look forward to again holding in-person events, Ambit will continue to provide support to consultants in all markets so we can safely get back to business:

  • Work - We are supporting the safe return to in-person events, presentations, and trainings. As you work your Ambit business, continue to comply with the specific restrictions and requirements for your city and state.
  • Powerful Resources - We continue to provide resources through PowerZone, Ambit U, the MyAmbitBusiness app, our social media channels and the Spark blog.
  • Watch for Updates - Ambit will continue to monitor the situation and will provide you with updates via email, app messages and PowerZone.

We look forward to getting out and seeing you and your teams again soon. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements about how Ambit plans to get back to business, including upcoming plans for Ambit events and business presentations.
