New York Certification and Verification

Dear Consultants,

If you do or plan to do business in New York, please make sure that you’ve completed the NY Certification process found in PowerZone. At that time, Ambit Energy has implemented a number of enhancements to our Customer enrollment process in our New York markets and to the certification process for New York Consultants. This new certification process is designed to help you understand the new digital verification process that replaced third-party verification. Digital verification is faster and more accurate, providing an additional level of protection for your Customers and making your job easier. Certification also covers the Home Energy Fair Practices Act (HEFPA) as well as a few other requirements specific to the New York market. Remember, certification protects not only yourself, but your Customers, your fellow Consultants and all of Ambit Energy and is required by an agreement with the New York Attorney Generals Office.
