In November 2006, less than a year after its launch, Ambit Energy joined the Better Business Bureau of Dallas (BBB). Why was this important for the company’s growth? It’s because the BBB is on your side as a consumer, and an A+ rating means Ambit is recognized for watching out for you. With the company’s 10-year anniversary approaching this fall, it’s a good time to discuss Ambit’s relationship with the BBB, their standards and how they work for consumers.
Receiving accreditation with the BBB was an involved process for Ambit Energy. The company was required to submit an application which was then reviewed by BBB staff. In addition to the application, the BBB researched Ambit’s business model and practices and verified that all information presented in the application was true. After the BBB completed its review, the final step in the process was to ensure that Ambit met its Code of Business Practices obligations.
Since being accredited on November 1, 2006, Ambit Energy has maintained ten straight years of continuous accreditation and is A+ rated. In order to maintain these standards, Ambit is committed to putting forth the effort and good faith to consistently resolving any complaints received from Customers.
